IMPORTANT UPDATE: USPS Mail Changes Impact COBRA Payments
According to the USPS, they recently made adjustments to their transportation operations which could delay when postmark dates are applied at their processing facilities. These delays can directly impact whether or not COBRA enrollment documents or premium payments are considered received on time, putting qualified individuals at risk for missing their COBRA deadlines.
To help prevent late receipt of an enrollment or premium payment, SBO encourages COBRA participants to contact ASI at 1-877-388-8331 to enroll in coverage and to submit premium payments online. COBRA enrollment documentation and/or premium payments received or postmarked after the required deadlines will be denied.
Important: Contact ASI COBRA with questions regarding your COBRA Continuation Coverage status and premium payments.
