Maternity Support Resources

Building a family can be both a wonderful and anxious time. It may leave you with lots of questions and/or information overload. We’ve put together the following family building support resources in one easy to find location to help you and your family.


BENEFIT RESOURCES & INFORMATION

The following Aetna programs and services are available to currently enrolled Aetna State of Delaware Health Plan members. Members are also encouraged to contact Aetna at 1-877-542-3862 or at the Aetna Member Website.

Aetna Enhanced Maternity Program: Learn what’s best for a healthy pregnancy. Receive free support and educational materials from an Aetna nurse throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born. Call 1-800-272-3531 to take part in the program.

Aetna One Advisor: Get free support on managing your health, coordinating your care, and meeting your health goals during pregnancy. Call 1-877-542-3862.

Discounts: Save on gym memberships, eyeglasses and contacts, weight loss programs and meal plans, massage therapy and more with the discount programs and services from Aetna. Log into your Aetna Member Website for details on how to get started.

Enhanced Fertility Benefits: View the Frequently Asked Questions

Maternity Support Center: Log into your Aetna Member Website (choose “Health & Wellness” and select “Maternity Support Center”) for helpful tips and information before, during and after your pregnancy.

Wellcare for Women: A dedicated e-commerce portal for breast pump equipment and accessories, maternity and newborn products, and support and compression garments. Learn more

The following Highmark Delaware programs and services are available to currently enrolled Highmark Delaware non-Medicare State of Delaware Health Plan members. Members are also encouraged to contact Highmark at 1-844-459-6452 or at the Highmark Delaware Member Website.

Baby BluePrints Maternity Education and Support Program: By enrolling in this free program you will have access to online information on all aspects of pregnancy and childbirth. Baby BluePrints will also provide you with personal support from a Maternity Nurse Advocate available to you throughout your pregnancy. You can enroll at any time during your pregnancy by calling 1-866-918-5267.

Blue 365 Discount Program: Whether you are looking for discounted gym memberships, weight loss programs or a discount on massage therapy, it can all be found on the Blue 365 website.

Breast Pumps: To see if you qualify for an insurance-covered breast pump as a State of Delaware Highmark member, call Better Living Now at 1-800-854-5729 or Byram at 1-877-773-1972.

Find Help: Find Help is an online tool that connects members seeking social services. Members have access to community resources and nonprofit organizations to address needs such as case management, housing, and financial advice through an online search tool. Balancing home, work and family can feel stressful and overwhelming. The following programs and services are available to currently enrolled Aetna and Highmark Delaware non-Medicare State of Delaware Health Plan members. Members are encouraged to contact ComPsych® GuidanceResources® at 1-877-527-4742 or visit their website.

Website: 24/7 access to a wealth of online resources, including webinars, articles and videos on a wide variety of work/life topics.

Professional Counseling Services: Members can obtain one-on-one professional counseling services, a maximum of five (5) sessions annually (plan year) per topic or concern, and, if needed, a referral to receive continued professional counseling services through the member's healthcare plan. When ComPsych® GuidanceResources® determines that a member requires more than five sessions, the member will be transferred to receive professional counseling services through his/her healthcare plan where applicable co-pays/co-insurance apply.

Financial Services: Financial counselors can address questions on all matters of financial management including debt reduction, home buying, budgeting, foreclosure prevention and bankruptcy prevention. Certified Consumer Credit Counselors will provide free 30-minute confidential counseling sessions.

  • This statewide information and referral service provides Delaware residents with an easy way to get connected to help for essential health and human services, including affordable housing, utility assistance, health care, senior services, food and other vital programs. All services are free, multilingual, confidential and available 24/7.

  • If you are a school district, charter school or higher education employee, please check with your Human Resources/Benefits Office for information regarding your organization’s paid parental leave policy.
