Natalie Onesi

Natalie OnesiNatalie Onesi, 25, graduated from the University of Delaware where she earned both of her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and Neuroscience in 2022, and her Master's in Neuroscience in 2023. Currently pursuing a second master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling, Natalie is preparing for a career as a future therapist and business owner with a passion for holistic, culturally attuned care. During her gap year, she joined The Delaware Center for Maternal and Fetal Medicine -- one of the nation's largest high-risk pregnancy centers -- where she spearheaded their first ever clinical research study. She now works part-time at DCMFM while in school, using data analytics to improve patient outcomes for pregnant mothers and the future generations they carry. Natalie's driving purpose is to treat mental health at its roots and to incite a call-to-action among practitioners to acknowledge that mental distress does not have a single, treatable cause. She recognizes mental well-being as having multidimensional roots and in order to provide ethically competent care, we must be bolstered with multidimensional interventions. Her future practice will combine psychotherapy with a network of tools such as personal trainers, nutritionists, traditional healers, and more in order to fully capture and honor the complexity of each client's story.

Sarah Shepard

Sarah ShepardSince starting as a part-time receptionist at a staffing firm in 2017, Sarah Shepard has rocketed to Enterprise Sales & Strategic Partnerships Director and senior-leadership status by age 30, parlaying her knack for relationship-building into tangible growth for businesses, workers, and the wider community. A 2025 Governor’s Excellence in Volunteer Service winner, 2023 Delaware Business Times 40 Under 40 honoree, and Leadership Delaware alumna, she now also runs Lorien Family Office Solutions, partnering with a wealth-management firm on estate planning and concierge services. Just six classes shy of her Business Administration degree at the University of Delaware, Sarah still finds time to volunteer hundreds of hours — teaching résumé and interview skills through the Food Bank, coordinating Kent County’s largest mobile food pantry, serving as Fosterwell’s board treasurer, and building affordable GED pathways for working adults. Her inclusive leadership style focuses on uncovering others’ strengths, and her guiding belief that "the resources we need already exist" fuels initiatives that benefit families, foster youth, and Delaware’s future workforce.
