Beginning January 1, 2026, eligible state employees may request to take job-protected paid Family Caregiving and Qualifying Exigency Leave. This toolkit provides important policies and procedures, checklists, and helpful support resources for caregivers and military members and their families.

Note: For Non-Executive Branch Agencies and Elected Offices, please contact your Human Resources Representative for policy information.
