Insurance Coverage Office
The Insurance Coverage Office is responsible for providing quality support for the state government's insurance needs. The office is responsible for managing the insurance program for state vehicles, buildings and property, and Workers' Compensation, as well as reviewing state facilities for safety issues and providing safety programs to state employees. This office works under the direction of the Director of Statewide Benefits within the Department of Human Resources.

Insurance Coverage Brochure
The Insurance Coverage Office (ICO) supports all State agencies in protecting their employees, the general public and the State’s physical assets through fiscally responsible, effective and timely comprehensive insurance management and safety/risk management strategies, policies and services. All insurance purchases by any State entity, excluding public and higher education, must be coordinated through the Insurance Coverage Office.
