Hall Of Fame – Kids Video Contest

The Office of Women’s Advancement and Advocacy invites Delaware’s students to submit 1-3 minute videos that highlights a member of the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame.

How to Enter

  1. Complete the online entry form. The entry form has a place to upload the required video release form as well as a place to share the YouTube link to your video.

  2. If the participant is a child under the age of 18, the child’s parent or guardian must complete and submit this Release Form. If more than one child is included in a video submission, a Release Form must be completed for each child by the child’s parent or guardian.


Official Rules

Deadline for Entry

  • The Entry and Video Release  Form(s) must be submitted by September 15, 2026.

  • The Office of Women’s Advancement and Advocacy (OWAA) shall not accept late or incomplete entries, or entries that have not followed these Official Rules.

  • OWAA reserves the right to adjust any deadline(s) as the result of causes beyond its immediate control. OWAA will take reasonable steps to notify of any adjustments made to deadlines.


Content

  • Video submissions must not contain inappropriate, indecent, or obscene content. OWAA has sole discretion in determining whether any video submission contains inappropriate, indecent, or obscene content. Video submissions determined by OWAA to contain inappropriate, indecent, or obscene content shall be rejected by OWAA.

  • Video submissions must be original, previously unpublished, and created solely by the submitting entrant(s), and not violate the intellectual property rights, copyright, or right of property of any third party. OWAA will reject video submissions that it determines, in its sole discretion, contain copyrighted materials. Video submissions that have been entered into other contests, or have been published elsewhere (newspapers, magazines, online, etc.) are not eligible.

  • Video submissions should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared.

  • Videos may not include other discernable people, names, signatures, logos, or other identifying marks.


Eligibility

  • This contest is open to all legal residents of the State of Delaware who are aged 8-13 as of August 31, 2026.

  • Applicants may not be related to any member of the Department of Human Resources Staff or the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame Committee or be employed by the State of Delaware.
