Research on Delaware Girls
The Office of Women’s Advancement & Advocacy (OWAA) is committed to helping Delaware understand the lives, challenges, and strengths of girls across our state. We bring together important studies and data from trusted partners, including state agencies, universities, and national organizations, to give a clear picture of how girls are doing and where support is needed most.
The research we share highlights key topics such as education, health, safety, mental well-being, leadership, and economic opportunity. By making this information easier to find and understand, OWAA helps families, schools, community groups, and lawmakers use data to guide decisions that impact girls.
This work helps to shine a light on the issues that matter and supports efforts to improve opportunities for every girl in Delaware. When we understand the facts, we can create better programs, stronger policies, and a brighter future for all girls in our state.
