Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summit 2023

On October 18, 2023 the Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion will host its annual summit. The summit’s focus will be on advocating for workplace diversity and fostering inclusion. This year’s theme will center on creating a culture of inclusive excellence. We are excited to announce Dr. Janice Underwood, Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility for the United States Office of Personnel Management, as the keynote speaker. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summit

On June 29, 2022, DHR’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion hosted a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summit which reinforced the State of Delaware’s commitment to creating a work environment that is inclusive, diverse, and representative of all Delawareans. Attendees gained valuable insight from a group of experienced diversity, equity, and inclusion leaders who have successfully created and shaped a D&I agenda at their respective places of work. Strategies and practical recommendations for enacting institutional change, building high-impact and inclusive teams, and the power of allyship were highlighted throughout the day.
