Severe Weather Conditions and Emergencies (SWCE) Notification Registration

Welcome to the Department of Human Resources' (DHR) Closings and Delays Email Subscription Service. This service will allow you to sign up to receive information updates and advisories provided by DHR for Delaware State Government Employees.

As of July 1, 2014, the State of Delaware moved to a new notification system for weather-related closings or delays impacting the state workforce. Individuals who previously subscribed to the Closing/Delay Email Notification list will need to re-register with the new system in order to receive future notices.

By subscribing to the list, you will receive announcements when a closure or delay is taking place that will affect state employees. The new system will allow subscribers to be notified via email messages, text messages to their cell phones and/or an automated phone call when a statewide closure or delay is taking place.
