OWAA Kids Video Contest

Each year, the Office of Women’s Advancement & Advocacy (OWAA) invites Delaware students ages 8-13 to take part in our Kids Video Contest. This contest gives young people a chance to share their voices, creativity, and ideas about inspiring women from the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame.

Participants create a short video that answers a simple question, "Which woman in the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame inspires you and why?"

A panel reviews all entries and selects winners based on creativity, storytelling, and clarity. Winning videos are showcased at the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and shared on OWAA’s platforms. Winners are also invited to attend the event and be recognized for their work.

The contest is free to enter and open to Delaware students. Each year’s theme, rules, and deadlines are posted on our website.

Check out last year’s winners.
