Important Dates for State Employee Recognition


Delaware Award for Heroism nominations are accepted throughout the year. For inclusion in the May awards ceremony, nominations must be submitted on or before January 31.

Governor’s Team Excellence Award nominations are due on or before January 15.

GEAR P3 Trailblazer Award nominations are due on or before January 31.

Agency Recognition Plans are due when changes are made to the statewide guidelines which result in an agency’s plan being out of compliance.
