Enrollment Following Employment

If you leave employment for any reason, including retirement, you can elect to port your coverage and pay premiums directly to Securian Financial. Securian Financial must be notified of your decision to port coverage within 31 days following your final date of employment. It is your responsibility to follow up with Securian Financial if you wish to continue coverage. Initially, rates may be similar to what you pay as an active employee, but they are subject to change.
