If you are no longer employed in a benefit eligible position, you and your dependents may take advantage of continuation options offered by Securian Financial. Securian Financial must be notified of the desire to continue coverage no later than 31 days following your final date of employment. It is your responsibility to follow up with Securian Financial if you wish to continue coverage. Premiums may be higher than those paid by employees.
