Effective January 1, 2026, the virtual Noom Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) will replace the virtual Livongo DPP for State of Delaware Highmark non-Medicare members. For those interested in participating in a virtual DPP before January 1, 2026, you may enroll in the YMCA DPP or wait until January 1, 2026 to enroll in the Noom DPP. For State of Delaware Highmark non-Medicare members currently participating in the Livongo DPP, you may continue utilizing the program until December 31, 2025. If you wish to continue participation in a DPP, you will need to enroll in the Noom DPP beginning January 1, 2026 through the myHighmark member website.

The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is a year-long, lifestyle and health behavior change program that is available at NO COST to Highmark Delaware members who meet program eligibility criteria. The DPP is evidence-based, recognized by the CDC and can help participants eat healthier, increase physical activity, lose weight, overcome stress, boost energy and reduce risk of chronic conditions including type 2 diabetes.
Highmark Delaware members can choose one of two options when participating in the DPP:

In-person, small group program through the YMCA
Over the course of 25 one-hour sessions in a relaxed classroom setting (YMCA branches, community sites or worksites), a trained Lifestyle Coach teaches participants skills that will help them lead a healthy lifestyle. As added benefits through the YMCA of Delaware, participants will receive up to 4 FREE months of family membership at the YMCA of Delaware!
